i blame the awesomeness that was "the hub". generally going on an adama/roslin spin. the ones with words on them are horribly corny. also, not done. sadly, it seems that i've decided to make 16 icons out of each screencap. i'd like to apologize in advance. for right now, it's going to be "posted" on my friends list, but open for all to see.

HAH. They had this mango strawberry thing at Taco Bell. I've had 3 of them today. And about 3 tacos. But that's during this entire day. And I ended up baking cookies. *dances* They came out soooooooo good. As evidenced by their untimely end in my loved one's tummies.

This was a HUGE experiment to see if I could actually use brushes, so I'm thrilled that you like it. And I ♥ fonts. Especially when they have kickass names like Enchanted Prairie Dog, lol. I get most of mine here (http://www.dafont.com/).

Dude, as long as there's a conversation going on, I could care less what started it. Which sorta sounds like fighting words. I think Laura/Elosha are the icons that express my sentiments when I saw that scene. Plus, they have a total "WTF?! OMG! IS THIS REAL!?" sort of face going on.

And the rest of the icons actually started out on a similar thread. And ended up being a bunch of separate baby icons. Wait 'til i put it together and animate. The moment might not be as sweet as it once was. *hides*

Isn't that site just great? And I totally have that Battlestar font. Not an easy one to use on 100x100 pixels, since it has to be pretty big to look right, but I will find a use for it yet!

Heh. Fighting words. It's like icon war. Except everybody wins, clearly. One of my favorite moments from the ep was the "If you're my conscience... I've gotta say, you're a bit full of myself" line. Oh, Laura. Can you do anything so that I will not love you?

Oh, I doubt you could take the sweetness out of any moment in this episode if you made it your life's work, lol.

.... Icon Wars?! So like... My icon can be all like "WTF is up with yo hair?!" and have Tigh on it, and then Laura!Icon can be all like "Must I airlock your cylon ass?!", at which point pimpstache!Bill breaks up the fight?! Because that would be awesome.

That was such a great moment though! Laura all having a conversation with herself. And yet, somehow, thinking that that would've been ok? Or how about her face when she was told she was a Cylon? It was more like a "yeah, I can handle that. means i'm no dying leader, kthnxbai!". You know. Perfection. Making me wonder how she'd see the Final Five, since frankly, she could put herself in their place. Even if my comment didn't make sense for the life of me. Oh well.

I don't think there WAS a Laura moment in that episode that didn't just rock all to hell and back (as your icons prove without a doubt). Her repeating everything the hybrid said? Arguing with Baltar like they were two schoolchildren? Even Laura in the flash-forwards (though she almost had me in tears) was so so well done. I ♥ Mary McDonnell. Seriously.

Mr. Roslin belongs everywhere (the man, not the icon, lol), I'm just saying. And dude's licking his lips in that New Caprica flashback. You can't tell me that's not what he's thinking. And I had to try soooo hard to think of text to go with that that wasn't COMPLETELY dirty....

After careful consideration, (i.e 30 seconds), I have decided to go ahead with the "icon wars" idea. Now, I've only need to find the perfect screencaps. Feel free to scream out one or two at me. :)

You know, part of me suspects that the point of that episode is just us realizing all of the wonderful things that Bill sees in Laura. All of her quirks, cuteness, and strength. That way we actually feel for her when she tells Bill that she loves him. And we can totally see why the Fool In Love (i,e, Bill) decides to wait in a ship, in deep space. Because he lurves her. And now so do we. [Conversion of Best Friend in process because of the episode that made lil' ol' me squee so loud that the neighborhood pets are no longer alive. :)]

Ahem. Dirty Icons = Love. Or babies. Or all sorts of fun things. Thou doth not need to make BSG icons little kid approved. BSG inspires people to produce babies. Thus, they shouldn't be watching it anyway, nor should they be to the icons. Plus, all the good jokes are dirty. Much like Bill & Laura's shmex life. :)
