Damn! That's a lot of lims! I'm totally lims'ed out right now. I cant imagine doing more than one at a time. I signed up for sg1_lims, but only because they post challenge pics ahead of time so you can work ahead, and they give a variety of caps to work with for each challenge. That way you aren't stuck working with a cap you don't like on a week when you have no icon mojo.

For some crazy reason, I like the challenge of having to work with a certain cap when it's due. I know, it sounds weird and all that, but I kinda like the surprise. Although sometimes it's kinda EVIL.

And I heard about that way of posting the caps that sg1_lims does it. I actually wanna impliment a similar system for bsg_rumble. 10 rounds, all of the caps already up, so people know what they are walking into.

Yeah, i know its supposed to be part of the challenge. I guess for me it started to turn icon making into a chore....I HAVE to enter an icon from X cap by a certain time or be eliminated. And some days or weeks I'm just stressed or tired with RL and icon making makes me feel like I'm shackled to my computer floundering to make an icon that I am happy with when I would rather be vegging on the couch recovering. And at that point it stops being fun. :-( The nice thing about icontests is that you can skip a week when you don't feel like iconing, and you can still participate in the next challenge if you want.

That's why haven't been signing up for many lims lately. Plus, its also not fun when I want to icon subject A but I have a lims entry due for subject B and only enough time to make one icon.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like a wet blanket. I used to be excited about signing up for LIMS, but that was back when I got voted of by the 3rd challenge so I had lots of time to recover between rounds.
